Description
The building is a wooden, two-story shotgun marked "S" for store with a wooden ancillary attached shed behind that is marked with an "x" for "Stable". A second two-story, wooden, attached structure is adjacent to it, the back property line, and a brick single story building marked "Bake Ho[use] and "Oven". A passageway is between 442 and 436-438 S. Franklin. While the bakehouse is attached to 436-438 S. Franklin, a lot line encloses this property while a dotted line separates 442 S. Franklin, associating 442 S. Franklin as the bakery storefront for the Bake house. The 1910 occupants are the "Vorbahen" family, bakers, and a lodger, Albert Romano, who is a driver for a bakery wagon.
